President's Message
Hopefully those of you who remain in Alaska are getting a chance to swing a
club once in awhile. The Tanglewood Dome and the screens at Full Swing are
open if you get a chance to get in and practice. This year we’ve added the “Full
Swing Fling” for those of you who can make it. It looks to be a fun evening, March
19th, with golf, pizza and prizes (thanks to Carol Jacobsen). I think you
all received a flier on it, but if not just give Carol a call (561-3162).
If you are a current member, emails will be sent out to keep you up to date on
anything happening in the off season. If you are not a member, check out the
website, or better yet, JOIN NOW! There is an application on this website.
Our first board meeting is in March and soon after that is our opening Spring
Luncheon in May. If you would like to join us on the board or would like to
volunteer in any capacity please give me a call.

Women’s Golf Association contact me or any of the board members.
I’ve already found out how much support there is from the members of this
organization. Any time I have asked for advice or help on something I haven’t
been disappointed. We have a great group of ladies and I’m hoping we have a
great summer of golf! See you on the course.

2010 AWGA President
I’d like to introduce myself to you as President for the 2010
AWGA season. I joined the AWGA about 10 years ago
when I first started golfing. I’m happy to be able to contribute
to the association and hope I am able to serve you well.
Lots of you are still down in warmer climates and those of
us left behind are jealous of the golf you’re able to play all
winter. The rest of us are anxiously awaiting the return of the
golf season up here.
